Use of unlicensed audio

Hello! I'm trying to make my first game on GM, and I'm using some audio effects and music that aren't mine.
I'll change it to original audio later, this is just to make it feel more complete while I'm making the art/code stuff.

Is it ok for me to upload the game to the Workshop as it is, with the unlicensed audio, and update it later, with my original audio, when it's done?
I'm worried because I don't wanna risk losing my creation or be sued.

Technically speaking, it's not ok to use other people's assets without permission, but seeing how there are quite a few games that do that (e.g. using assets from Mario, MLP, etc.) on the Workshop that haven't been taken down, I think they would let it slide as long as it's not a big deal.

If there is a problem, you'll probably be more likely be asked to replace the audio with something else or, at worst, take the game off the Workshop than be sued.

Since I just wanna use the unlicensed audio while my own audio isn't finished, I think I'll upload the game.

Seeing the other stuff on the workshop it's likely nothing will happen unless you used licenced songs or something and your game somehow gets popular. (nothing on the workshop gets popular :p)

One alternative is to hot over to the Internet Archives and use Public Domain music as placeholder assets. http://archive.org/details/audio
