Adding Sprites crashes game
So I'm making a game. When since added some sprites today (some 75X75 animations- not big), whenever I playtest GM loads all the stuff as usuall but instead of lunching game it simply doesnt. Just as that, no error massage- nothing. Making executable or clicking red triangle instead of green doesnt make any difference.

BUT

Whenever I simply delete new sprites I made, it simply starts giving me error messages about missing sprites, which I deleted whenever they should be used. Its DEFINETELY normal sprites, same as Ive made hundreds times before, and it DEFINETLY does not want to launch game because of theese. Anyone have any ideas?

Is every sprite in the animation 75x75 is your offset out of your sprite range? Those are the only two things I can think of that would crash it. Then again, I'm not yoyo tech support.

Is everything named correctly as well?

Everything should be technically in order. But I just made something different. I had some other "old" sprites which I used before in that game but resigned from them, placing them in "unused" folder. I have deleted those and run a game with those new sprites I made. And it runs.

It seems that my version of GM must have some kind of sprite limits. Im using 8.1 free version. I have googled it and it seems like GM indeed have those kind of limits I did not known when I was starting to make stufs with it.

I would considered buying pro version, as I really like my idea of a game and I will realise it eventually one way or another. Also I dont have much experience so Game Maker seems like a good place for beginner like me. Its just easy to me to drag and drop those icons without having to write anything to make things working. But theres one more thing- even when I made stuffs work by deleting unused sprites, background music stopped to work. And when I double check it, its as simple as that:
There is an object on a map, with a command upon "create" to make a sound I chosen and loop it. The sound is set to maximum loud and I have checked if the object is placed in a room. And it does not work now, when it was working fine all the way before without me changing anything. It just began after reaching sprite limit thing.

No, I will not buy a pro version, because I lost a trust for yoyo after using free version. I would rather learn how to make games in other free game making software and this time I will check for its limitations not after days of work but at the very beginig.

Have you considered migrating over to the free version of GameMaker: Studio from GameMaker 8.1? Shouldn't have that same sprite issue, I believe.

Yes, Ive tried it, but there were some errors during migration and so it failed.
