Infierno Challenge 8
Hi all,

Any tips for beating this challenge? I've managed to get a gold for the rest of them relatively easily after a few tries but this one still seems incredibly difficult to get. Even with using the goalkeeper costume so I can deal more hits I can only get up to around 170 before the chupacabras turn up and hide at the top of the screen so I cannot reach them to continue my combo. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Yeah, chupacabras in general have always been a bane for me in this game. As soon as you finish off the regular green skeletons and those other guys that turn into a ball and hit you by jumping, the best thing you can do is Goat Jump off of either wall so that you can catch the chupacabra as it's still spawning into the arena.

(I may have to look into this again... I can't remember whether the two chupacabras spawn at the same time, or if one spawns and then another soon after).

From there, you definitely need to rely on your basic throw since more chupacabras will spawn after the initial two do. Throwing chupacabras into other chupacabras is the best tactic to keeping them grounded and allowing you to finish them off easily. Always remember that your grapple/throw animation has invincibility, so use that to your advantage.

Thanks! Will definitely give that a try a bit later.

Worked perfectly, thank you! I was trying to stay away from throwing in case it killed enemies too quickly, but is essential against the chupacabras. Managed it first time doing that. Thanks again!

one trick i used in the inferno challenges to get combos is i use the goalie and when theres only a coule of skeletons on the screen or some other easy enemy to dodge i switch to the chicken and hit it that way it does so little damage you can get a ton of hits in if you can avoid the attacks. a skeleton takes 66 hits so 2 skeletons is 132 combo right there i can kill 3 skeletons at once as the chicken, any more than that and they stagger their attacks so frequently i can't move in and hit them and then move away in time.
