SOLVED: How to start the second player

At the beginning of the game, only one player can play. You will go through several screens / locations, waiting for the 2nd player, the girl, to appear. Once Juan gets the mask you will be asked if you would like a 2nd player to join, and further instructions will be provided on screen.

Ah, I'm about to boot the game up for the first time and it would have driven me crazy trying to figure out how to add the second player. Thanks a lot for the info!

My housemate's computer broke so we were looking for things to do multiplayer. Since I owned the game already, I figured I'd fire it up and make sure it worked - only to find that there didn't seem to be a multiplayer option at all.
Good to know that it's still there - I've just gotta dig a bit deeper to reach it. (I think I'll let him play through that part first, and join when it happens.)
