Silence of the Siren

Game crashes during loading [RESOLVED - but no root cause yet]
It gets about 25% through loading and then crashes. Anybody have this issue? I have not had any issue like this for all my other games.

Try to verify integrity of the game files.

Right mouse click on the game in your library ---> properties ---> installed files ---> verify integrity of the game files.
yeah, I did that and still crashes ...
It was late last night when this happened. but I'll post the crash log shortly.
There's a lot of different data in the most recent crash* dir. Will just post this stack trace for now

Update
So I tried the the old faithful pray and restart computer hack .. and it worked.

My steps ..
1 - uninstalled game
2 - restarted computer (soft)
3 - installed game
4 - success game now started up

Will play and report any other issues.
