In this thread you can talk about text quests, ask for help or just discuss it. Spoilers are allowed, but it's better to use spoiler tags .

^^ I got through the Oldmobile race by buying "not-so-legal" parts and using them to beat other racers. Then you get the next section trying to race a guy to hospital which a bit silly considering how much effort it took just to get through the races. Luckily I got through it and succeeded.

Almost immediatey Igot a Text quest to challenge Clerks in a Clerks battle :/

I'm also stuck on the Oldmobile race. I've bought the 500k car, Headlights, Iron Ram, Nanobots. Then Carbon Fibre body parts and the 70k Rims and the 40k Clutch.
When I race, the first car I "outrun", the second car I "flash the headlights", the third car I "Bump", the forth car I use the Iron(?). The last car I cannot Ram or pass.

I cannot flash the headlights at the first car, and if I use the ram, I break the headlights.

Any other suggestions?

I didn't use Ram, I bought the Suburoo, Carbonfibre, Dominator parts, auto or manual transmission
I used Maneuver and passed for first guy, I think I hit the 2nd guy and when that failed overtook him like the previous guy. I Flashlights are for the Fae, Final guy I used Zoopies, I used Nanobots at some point to heal.

Also take note of the previous guys notes, he's got a list of colours you need for when you rush the one guy to hospital

I have, can't remember it all so I'll just mention what to do/not to do.

Buy all the food at the spaceport.
Don't hit the bell until you get the hammer.
On the left stairs, throw the sandwich to distract the spider.
On right stairs, don't go through 3rd door.
On right stairs, door 4 or 5, don't try to call anyone, just search table and watch album
On right stairs, door 1, and say you're best lyakusha (not Cesska though).
On right stairs, door 2, read book, then add water and bread to the pot. This gives you a 10-use healing potion.
Couldn't work out ring puzzle but you can force it open anyway. Carry the body back.
At the sensory statues, choose the one with sight.
After hitting bell with hammer, fight is just whacking hard as you can, healing when status is wounded or so. Splash with alcohol for massive damage.

You could scrape through with some wrong steps, but they usually result in extra fights, and you can only use the alcohol once.

Check page 2 spoilers area, that works fine. To pick pockets, I believe you have to dig till the end, then search elsewhere? When you do stuff at night like read, that lowers your 'refreshed' status, which means less time. Increases your stats though, so just keep an eye on time left and paint quickly but accurately rather than slow when it becomes necessary.

^Thanks that worked, I used "take your time" from almost all the settings and won by a land slide. Without picking anyone's pockets

Immediately got the Pizza Text Quest, when I turned this one in >_<

I just did the Pizza today - most important bit is to bribe the right judge so you can ignore their pizza tastes. My successful run was 3 maloqs and 2 faeyans, so I bribed a faeyan and got 4 10s and a 1, leading to a tie. If something similar happens for you, the tiebreaker is audience support, so make sure you get that high in the beginning (non boring answers are good I think).

Racial tastes here for easy lookup:

Peleng - Seafood - vegetarian and exotic addends. No aesthetics.

Human - Stunning - well balanced, some exoticness, excellent aesthetic qualities, contrasting colours, all kinds of components; fish, meat, vegetables, and all kinds of exotics too.

Faeyan - Vegetarian - rich in mineral salts, no meat products, some salad, fruit, berries.

Maloq - King size - lots of calories, lots of meat, little aesthetic or exotic qualities.

Gaalian - Heavenly - rare exotic components, low calorie count, very beautiful and aesthetic, contrasting colours.

thickness must be 10 to 20 units.

After doing some cargo quest, I meet a text quest. This quest have the name Assortment in Text Quest ( a addon quest). It's about being a chief cargo sorter. I must sort railcars on 4 tracks. Have anyone completed this quest before? And how? I unintentionally completed it one (in text quest menu). It's totally random :(

To be honest, I found the Liner and Ski Resort text quests rather fun and not frustrating.

Remember when I asked about the Pizza quest in August and truncat posted that help above. I'M STILL STUCK ON IT XD Even with following his advice, bribng a judge and doing a pizza that appeals to the majority, I'm always ranked lowest and fail on round 1. XD

WITH 95% POPULARITY too.

This is more than a month old so you must have solved or lost interest in the pizza quest by now, but heres my 2 cents.

This isn't a strategy for making a pizza so much as its for realizing when to stop save-scumming. Ideally you want a panel that has 3 Faeyen Judges. Bribe one of the non-faeyen. For the pizza, just keep throwing vegetables onto it and use the 'vegetable' spices and exotic ingredients, for example 'pumpkin seeds'. You should end up with a really vegeterian pizza with decent stats in everything but meatiness and fishiness. In my game, the 3 faeyens and the bribed maloq gave me 10 each with the lone peleng giving me a 6 (somehow!) for a total of 46, far and away the first place winner!

I am also stuck on the train cargo sorting quest. It seems completely random, like you must just be lucky to finish it. Any tips?

Heh. Nice that the ones most discussed are the few I've never received. Assortment, Rally, Disc, Elections, Ministry, and Driver are the six.

I found the ski resort and liner missions to be incredibly easy. For the pizza, I decided to just reset it over and over until at least three of the judges were the same race (like fellow up above said). It doesn't take that long.

re: Nevits, I finished that on first try? The 4th line from the bottom on the guy's spoiler post up above is probably the most important.

The two I had to think the most about were the annoying jumper one & the one with the:

where you had 100 something turns to get them in the correct order. I don't have enough patience to sit there and look at it long enough to complete it in the amt of moves allotted.... that's the only text mission I've received that I haven't completed.


I repeated the Maloq Prince & Princess one a few times to see the diff dialogue results. Funny as hell.

... and I gotta say, the translation flaws on the Dominions, I think they should just be left as is, hah.

Hello there,
I am stuck in a planetary mission where u have to steal a secret peleng space ship,
well i found the space ship in the hangar using some megavision glasses but i cant get the
hangar door to open so i cant end the quest.
can anyone help me with this?
