help with Unique ships.

I am basically stumped here. I have 10 mil, admiral and khan ranks, did at least 200 quests, killed more than 800 pirates and dominators each, a hero and I don't see the unique military or science vessal in any place. No options, dialog etc. Any advice? Thx .

unique ship you must include in thin settings if you want play with him

To clarify the above... the unique ships were disabled in HD, and you can only get them if you enable them in advanced options.

how to enable the settings?

I searched in the options, in starting new games and in the cfg file and see nothing.

It's at the bottom of the difficulty settings, "advanced configuration" I think. When you select it it'll ask you if you're sure you want to enable it, then when you move onto the next screen a new menu shows up with the advanced options.

That means starting a new game...

Nevermind, I will work towards getting the shadow of empire instead. Just found out about it yesterday.

The new pirate hulls are crap compared to the old unique hulls.

1 more thing I noticed is that I have survey 20,000 plus land in the achivements in Steam. Does that means my game has exceeded the amount needed for Shadow of the Empire and I am stuck with no good hulls?

I believe tha was the point. From what I understand, they wanted to make this version of the game more difficult and the unique hulls were overpowered. Instead of nerfing them they left them in the advanced options for players who wanted them.

I don't know what you mean by "no good hulls" cause you can get a worthwhile endgame hull just from random shops. My Peleng merc 200% game was completed with a Fast Hull III with I think 800 size.
