Keller Boss Arcade Fight
I'm stuck on the final Dominator boss, Keller and I find the Arcade impossible.

I've searched for help and people have said Eso's or Homing Missles are the best, but the weapons work differently in Arcade.
For example the Turbogravitrons which are the best weapons I have dealing 50-110, has a terrible short range spin attack in arcade.

What are the best weapons for this fight and ARE there any can home in on enemies, so I can keep distance while shooting?

So close to finally finishing and just can't get past this Arcade fight.

One or two of the 'new' pirate faction weapons are supposedly most powerful in arcade - I think it's either kafasitor or esodafer.
As for myself I still use 5 vertix weapons for that fight, since they are AoE (sort of) in arcade too.
Keep in mind that arcade fights get progressively harder the more of them you finish. So yes, it's a major pain to leave Keller map for last (unless you don't do arcade at all).

Another additional thing of help - mini-droid artefact slowly heals the ship in arcade mode.

I searched and Vertix don't exist in my galaxy, I did get a IMHO once but it was huge and didn't do much dmg so sold it.
The esodafar in arcade is far too weak and only shoots out straight.
Update, managed to kill him with 5 flow blasters. They weak but they home in and rapid fire so I just circled the border until Keller and all the ships were dead.
Cleared the game finally.
It's amazing how different it was to other players. Terrra crashed into a sun, but guide said program makes him land on a planet and you fight him in a land battle and Keller every posts says you send him to become god or something AFTER you beat him in Hyperspace, but for me I uploaded the program in Hyperspace and he flew apart.

My original posts on this board are from 2014, but came back and cleared it at least Q_Q

There's multiple solutions to every boss fight, Terron's boss fight can be cheesed moderately easily because his units are not aggressive and he is unable to create more of them, so if you just pick them off one by one in manual mode at the boundary between their detection range and your rocket range, you can beat it without losing a single unit.

But for reference how do you get the land battle? Do you only get that if you beat him without a program?

Thankfully I recorded that exact situation a while ago while I was replaying the original Space Rangers 2. You actually do need the Submodem program to defeat him, if the pirate station offers you a disc for 100,000 cr, that's the disc. You can get it for half price lol. This disc allows for you to do one of three things upon meeting Terron:

1 - Make him harmless, but there's all the reinforcements to worry about and Terron still heals for a ton, so you'd ideally want a bunch of units with you
2 - Make it so no more Terron units can spawn, but he still hurts like a truck, so hopefully you got endgame gear for this one
3 - Planetary battle, which gives you 5200 of each resource and 34/0 droids to control (but you have to rescue some of them before you can). Took me about 25 minutes to clear it.
