Do we get access to larger ships?

Ok, when I say ''larger ships'' I am NOT referring to player-owned and usable super-carriers etc, BUT TO small-ish / medium sized ships such as corvettes, etc (that are somewhat bigger than your typical 1-man fighter, but otherwise smaller than a capital ships).

...So do we eventually get access to any cool & larger ships (than a single-seat fighter)?

But you DID refer to Eve online, so u ought to know what a capital ship is, at least?
As I stated in my OP, im not asking if i can use capital ships in this game (such as carriers, battleships etc) coz I (already) KNOW that I can't.

But I was rather asking if its possible to pilot/commander ships that are atleast A LITTLE bigger than a single-seat fighter... such as a corvette or something like that?
I dont know how I can elaborate my question any better than I already have.. :(

There are no non-single-seat ships in this game. Ships just look bigger if they have more hitpoints (and very likely more susceptible to damage) but that's it.

Why do they need multiple people on the ship if they were able to automate even Emperor type strardestroyer :P

You can hire wing men and have a whole squadron. Where I am now, I have a 1,1,84hp ship with 24% shield +11 armor and can command 4 wing men. So if I wanted I could track down the best rangers, hail them, hire them, then liberate entire systems by myself.

But I'm still playing lone wolf post man, so...
