To be more precise, it's more surf painting than dashing (which could mean the "slide" command, that dodge-like move), but yeah, that did the trick.

Can someone upload a video of a sub 1:17? Even with surfing and doing the slide/attack I'm stumped unless i'm missing a shortcut or something

EDIT: Got a 1:16. Didn't realize you can dash while in the air

Now to find the last 300ish coins

If you missed 6 coins, they might be in the circular room with two screens.
At floor level, there's two walls you can climb by wall jumping between them, and coins appear when you do so from the bottom.

They're on the top of the circular room.
To climb it, once you exited it by destroying all the crates : jump on the border, then do a jump+attack to get to the room's wall. Double wall jump from here, the attack toward the wall. If it wasn't enough, to reach the top, then a last walljump + glide should take you there.

You'll find the coins pretty easily after that.

The kind of stuff you'd find in Mario's Odyssey.

For the S rank, well, you have to do pretty much all other objectives in a low time.

I'm guessing you need 63k points to get it, since I missed it with a score of 62.924 a few attempts before.
