The first one wasnt very good but origins was actually pretty solid for the time. Id say its as good as Xenosaga 3 or Tales of the abyss. Bamco was really lazy and didnt wanna restore the old dub back while modders were able to do it for switch.

the script changes where also super super minor

as it had to do with some changes in the rating system in japan so they altered a few words got those rerecorded and that was that

they did not want to pay to have the lines changed in the dub

so rather than do the obvious thing of just use the old script we got stuck with no dub

The English version of GCN!Origins cut a huge chunk of dialog by removing the male/female choice. They appear to have cut it from the English version of the original in the remaster going by videos.

Only the first game, the 2nd game has Yuri LowenGOAT as the MC.

But I can't say I don't miss the charm of the first game's dub. I just want to hear Kalas going "IS THAT ALL YOU GOT" on repeat.
