First Baten is great (~50h). Origins is... well...

both games take a minimum of 50+ hours to beat assuming you're not changing any settings like insta-kills or skipping, and only for the story, if you do sidequests or collection, it can easily take you significantly more than that.

It's a meaty JRPG with a lot of content. I'm nearing the end of a 100% run of the first game, and I'm 85 hours in, and that's as someone with a LOT of prior knowledge to speed up the process. I haven't even done a New Game- run yet, nor have I even touched Baten Kaitos Origins. I think that if you want to 100% both games, you could easily get 200+ hours combined between both games.

Haven't played BK Origins yet, but Baten Kaitos 1 is decently long, especially if you do the side content. About 40-60 hours I'd say.

The 100% speedrun record for one of these is like 357 hours if I remember correctly lol

Could definitely easily get 100+ hours on each game as a new player, trying to unlock everything. It has a lot of story with optional side quests, secrets ect.
