BlackForge: A Smithing Adventure

BlackForge: A Smithing Adventure

Issues so far
- Cannot make slashing weapons
- Weapon detection thinks that a solid rectangle of metal is a spear if it is small enough (about a quarter of a 1 scoop ingot)
- Occasional crashes when placing items into the note bubble
- the add-back ability of the hammer is very difficult to use without undoing all progress
- when switching to a wood other than pine some gets removed from your stock as it appears in the opening, and upon switching wood types again it does not give that amount back. basically if you switch wood types repeatedly you will run out of the non-pine without ever cutting any of it
- other woods types do not have name tags above them
- the weight system is a little flawed. made an average butcher's cleaver that you would find in any butcher shop but it was too light. perhaps add another weight below the 1 rock for things that can be smaller
- requests wanting long weapons complaining they are too long if the weapon is taller then the middle of the 'long' symbol on the wall. I feel like there should be more leeway here but maybe not
- no way to be precise with metal as the grinder, while better than the hammer for smaller changes, will devour metal nonsensically if the piece is thin. also cannot make a point (like a large nail) due to the same reasons
- map fog doesn't clear (if it is even supposed to) when big cart guy travels farther into it
- leather wrap can be lost by missing a weapon. you can use all of your stock by shooting it into nowhere repeatedly
- disconnect button on the anvil separates every piece which would be fine if the pieces remained floating, but some will fall forcing you to restart the construction process from scratch
- would like an option to disable the ancestor nails as I keep hitting them when grabbing my hammer from where I like to keep them and then cannot see what I am doing until the demonstration is over
- I looked at other threads here and have no idea what the 'barter' feature is. all I have gotten from big cart guy in nearly 5 hours is; arrive, place letters, stand, take letters, leave. there is no way to talk to him so I don't know what I am missing
- fire spirit has occasionally eaten wood that was on my anvil if it was too close to the forge. it had walked in to kick some metal back but before it could return to the entrance i had placed my weapon on the anvil, and it stuck its head through the forge and ate my handle
- would like a way to pour shaped ingots (wouldn't mind if it is far down the line but think it would be helpful for shaping)
- leather wrap slider doesn't stops working upon the first reload of the game after a crash, but works after closing and reloading the game a second time
- after filling up the purple liquid ball for a second time and unlocking what I assume to be the iron quest (which cannot be done for me because it requires a slashing weapons that cannot be made) the lantern(?) that the orb was in turned into a solid metal piece. may be intentional if there is no more progression beyond iron just yet.
- no incentive to use other wood (and maybe metal) types other than pine and copper that I have found so far
- the hammer starting so high up every time you load the game is a bit annoying
- along with the previous, anything that the player cannot shape (i.e. wood and metal and anything the player has directly made) returns to its default location in the house, not allowing any personalization of the house and backyard area

i very much enjoy this game and cannot wait for it to be improved, so thank you all for working so diligently on it.
