Also does any-one know how to map actions to multi button mice? I have a RAT 7, but can only use buttons 1, 2 and 3.
As long as all of the requried controls are mapped on the controls settings screen, you should be able to accept your changes. Can you try changing a single key mapping and see if that works, and let us know the specific steps you're taking if it isn't working?
For example if any of the keys display that they are not mapped, you may not be able to accept your changes.
Hm! That is kind of silly. I hadn't thought of that or I would have suggested checking for it. I think we'll be able to correct that in a future patch to avoid further confusion, but in the meantime it's good to know that that's something to watch out for.
Sorry for the trouble, and thanks for posting the solution.
Count me in as another who would like to be able to map to mouse buttons as well.
Hi smithulence, you may want to double check that you aren't leaving a required control un-mapped, which will disable the Accept button.
Unfortunately these are not marked on screen, but as an example if you tried to map Move Up to 'Q' it would un-map the Use Item keybinding which is required. Even if you changed Move Up back to W, Use Item wouldn't automatically restore itself, so you would have to go and map it before accepting your settings.
