I actually tried re-playing the map backward to the previous checkpoint and restarting from there but it didn't work either. Well, that's annoying, hope the devs put out a fix somewhat soon.
Restarted the Level a few weeks ago (did'nt even start the game since my last post) and was happy to see that all the honor marks I had reached in my previous try were still there - re-playing the level without pressure was much more fun than I had thought.
So I guess the only work-around to the problem really is restarting, no matter what a ♥♥♥♥♥ that is!
After pushing the button to lower the elevator, i go up to the second savepoint, then go back to the first savepoint to try some scoring on the back guards. I missed the first attempt, so i choose to reload from the last savepoint and see the elevator back on top. But when i came back to the room, the button was green and not usable anymore.
Stopping and reloading the game leads to the same issue.
I'm stuck in the level and had to remake it.
It's not very nice from Klei, considering that after so many times, the developper still don't care about this bug.
But the bug is real and still efficient. I'm another victim shooted by the elevator bug on the battlefield. RIP.

I wonder if it's fixed in the remastered version. Still pretty wild they didn't fix it in the original regardless.
