Amon Hen and the Whack-A-Mole glitch: Potential SOLUTION

If you're stuck/frustrated, don't use the cheat code (W5EJVP) just yet as it's risky (doesn't work 100% of the time, so back up your saved-game file).

Instead, try this first: IMPORTANT! THE MAP MAY BE "LYING" TO YOU.
If you've already confirmed that you've completed the whack-a-mole, then the missing brick IS NOT THAT ONE THAT KEEPS RE-APPEARING.

Here's the potential legitimate solution. You may have missed one of the two caves on the beach nearby. Yes, there are TWO caves:
1) One for Legolas/an archer to shoot out a target above the entrance.
2) To the left is the 2nd cave that is opened with a hand-crank fished out of the river.

I too was stuck on 99.5% when a non-Steam forum suggested turning on the Mithril Brick Finder. While the Finder is not exactly 'bloodhound-quality', it did point me eventually in the right direction. I found that I had missed the "Crank Cave" completely.

Now, after you cash in your final set of Mithril Bricks, you'll be awarded the Blacksmith character and the game will state 99.8% complete. Don't panic...save the game and exit back to the main menu. Go to Load Game and you should now see 100.0%.

yea i ran into that also. I figured the brick was a glitch with the moles because i already got it, so the brick i hadn't gotten was something else, and figured out it was in the cave below the plateau like you said.

In the cave mentioned i have the problem that the poles jump high and get stuck in midair

Thank you it was the 2nd one for me too, I don't know why I missed it xD

I did the whack a mole again and then the arrow for the cave appeared but because it was underground and deep inside the hill I wouldn't have known that. So thank you again.
