Well, this is disappointing.

Constant crashes, freezes and godawful controls. I love lego games but I seriously regret buying this for PC, it's just unplayable. Anyone else having major issues with this game and have you had any success at fixing it?

It's strange. The game is good, but i had massive problems in the first half-hour f the game. It crashed for no known reason, and when i restarted the Prologue and got to the Sauron part, the character with that special sword was stuck inside one of the background characters. Literally, his head just poked out of the poor soldier's. I could describe more, but it would take days.

the pc controls sux right, but with a nice gamepad the game is awsome^^ and from my 35hour playtime i had one crash

So for some reason now it works perfectly fine... Haven't really tried to fix it the problems just ironed themselves out!

No issues but I did find the keyboard contols frustrating. I'm now using an Xbox 360 pad - much better.

I didn't have the technical problems, but I am rather disappointing at the apparent .. lack of progress. I'm seeing little to no progress on the development side from their first games. Each one adds a little gimicky feature, but does nothing to address control and camera issues.

I've recently started having an issue with the game spontaneously minimizing itself. It's very annoying.

I had intermittent crashes in free-play mode but now in free-roam Middle Earth there're some Mithril bricks that it won't let me collect. Stops me getting up to the full 100% which is annoying.

I have not manage to even play the game yet as its not loading - feel as if some files are missing cos all the other games I have have folders in their game folder and all lego has is Game Dat 1 to 5 and the launcher. is that all the files I need to run this game???

no performance issues here... I fixed the controls issue by plugging my PS3 controller into my computer, and setting it up with the PS3 equivalent controls... works great :D

performance wise the game is k. playing with a 360 controller and most of the times the game is responsive but I do run into some problems at certain platforming areas where the character just jumps in random directions with no control whatsoever. like the cutscenes :D

Have downloaded this onto 3 differennt computers, 2 on windows 7 and 1 on vista and can't even get it to launch on any of them

Finally got mine working... using PS3 controller emulated as 360 controller... but eh, game seems buggy to me
