No Online Multiplayer?
Was I the only one who purchased this expecting online multiplayer? I purchased a copy for a friend and myself for 16 dollars expecting we would be able to play together after reading the line from the description saying "Play with friends and family with seamless drop in drop out play" and seeing "Local Coop" We both launched up the game, played 5 minutes and then realized the game had no online multiplayer. Now we've both got a worthless game we'll never play through because of this, as neither of us want to play the game solo. Obviously we're both extremely dissapointed with the waste of purchase when theres many other coops games available with online play. Getting a refund would be difficult given one copy was purchased as a gift.

Note: This is an old post, im only keeping it up as its allready saved some people a wasted purchase.

Just a caveat, If your still interested it is still an excellent game solo, just dont buy soley for coop.

You can try TeamViewer (and Skype or TeamSpeak or Mumble or Steam or other voice chat program) - http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/699619-Tut-Rayman-origins-online-no-problem-%29?p=8510131#post8510131

But it could lag. [Sorry for my English.]

Maybe you should of done some research, the previous 10 or so Lego games had no online multiplayer, so why would this.

Wrong. They have previously made PC lego game, after much nevegative feedback, updated for ONLINE Multiplayer. Do not bother responding though as this topic is old and I dont care to have it kicked around.

Either way, a clear note would have been nice, I mean who buys a pc game made for multiple people expecting no real way of online play? That would be what a console release is for. Either way, very old topic, leave the topic to inactivity peeps.

Actually, the topic is still useful, as you can see it saved someone from loosing money (and other who already made the mistake) :spycon:

Well I can't find any evidence of a PC Lego game having online co-op.

Saw this on sale. Was going to buy two copies for co-op. Seems it's local only. Thanks for the warning. I'll buy a diff game!

It's the same as single, just with another player controlling a second character. The game does have a splitscreen that enables if the two players are far enough apart.
