You Might Not Be Able to 100% Complete This Game

There are several unpatched bugs that prevent you from getting 100% steam achievement (perfect) completion. (This is ESPECIALLY true if you play quite a bit of the game in coop--as the bug relates to the game auto saving an incorrect number of blocks.) You may get close but a few of the levels will say you have 4/3 white bricks this number is not possible and the game will count this as having 0 white bricks--making so that you can never complete the game because you are several short.

The console versions received a patch but the PC version is still at the same version as the day it was released. As others have found, I tried contacting the publisher and the developer and both replied with the standard "Please send us a DXDiag of your machine..." etc then tell you nothing can be done even though your machine is not the problem, they don't plan on patching the game.

Ugh .. I hate the "give us the DXDiag" response, it is like getting the "have you tried turning it off and back on again" routine. Maybe if we make enough of a racket they will pay attention. Just have everyone upvote this thread or something. In a game about completion, not being able to do so, is like buyng a puzzle in the store and getting it almost together to find that a few peices are missing....

Very true. I was quite frustrated when I went through with a friend and played for about 30-40 hours, then maxed out at 97% complete because of their programming issue.

There are a few people, according to global statistics, that have 100% completion. It may just be difficult due to the unfixed issues.

Yes this is true. If your save game gets the glitch you have to start from scratch.

This post gives some codes for people that got to 98.8%, but were stuck due to glitches and they seemed to work. This was for xbox, but the other codes I've seen have worked cross platform. I'm not far enough in the game to test them yet:

Hey thanks, I tried each code--one of them worked and got me one part closer. When the others didn't work I did some more research and discovered this is a specific PC bug that can happen--they've patched it on the console versions. If I replay the entire game I may or may not be able to get 100%, some people that have tried run into the same 4/3 item problem and then having 0/3 permanently for that level.

I think if I do play through again I will backup my save game state every few hours so that I can go back a few hours if I discover the bug and try again from there.

It'd be nice if they would just patch the game. The game version is still the version it was on release day. Most developers release patches...

I think someone else mentioned that it would pop up when saving mid level, but it would happen at other times too. It just seemed more common when saving and continuing mid level.

the codes only took me up to 99.8 cause i have two glitches. SO im still stuck waiting ugh.

Don't bother waiting, this publisher and company hasn't had a habbit of updating their PC games after release. All our games are steal the same version number they were on release date. I've thought about starting again someday and backing up my save every few levels and then going back to it if I notice the issue.

so far no reply from ttgames after numerous emails. They don't give a rat's a$$ about their customers. I can't be mad at steam, but i am a little mad they would sell a game that you can't finish.

Sorry, guys, but it may be a system problem. Finished this game 100%, and I stink at games.

It's not a system problem. Read into this more and you can find out which level has an error where if you save midlevel you can end up collecting 4/3 blocks, since this isn't possible the game counts it as 0 blocks. Unless you happened to backup your save game before this (who does?) you have no choice but to restart the entire game. Xbox and PS also suffered from this but it was patched, they have neglected the PC version entirely and there are no patches.

I believe it can even happen when not saving mid-level, but it's rare. I've been trying to complete each level in one sitting and then go through afterwords to unlock everything. We'll see if that works or not. I know the codes I posted earlier have helped some of the glitches, but not all.
