g. There is no reason to feel insulted, each LEGO game is buggy, that's a known fact. If you didn't realised it, you never tried to achieve 100% in the game !
The game is worth suffering some bugs if you run through the history mode, but when you'll try to find everything the pleasure might disappear.
TTgames never updates their games, they seem not to be able because of the many platform the game is on. Impossible for them to overview everything.
1) The one mentioned above (I guess) during the prologue. What happens is that the path to Sauron won't be cleared and you're stuck in the arena where you fought the orcs.
2) Before entering the mines; the giant squid just sits there and doesn't initiate combat.
Calling these game-breaking is a bit harsh though, they normally don't happen three times in a row if at all.
I'm surprised by how many different glitches there are just in the prologue. The worst glitch I've had so far was that the fight against Sauron just didn't start. I was able to walk up to him and run around him, but he just stood there laughing constantly without attacking me or anything. As far as I understood the problem (after restarting a few times), all three characters (Elrond, Elendil, Isildur) must be in the ring before the fight can start. But the problem was that the other two characters weren't moving at all and just stood still. As I found out only after the restarts, they're actually supposed to run after you and help you against the orcs. Even moving all three characters manually one after the other into the ring didn't work, since I wasn't able to select and control Elrond at all (judging from Qu1tsch1e's comment you should be able to control him, so I guess this was a seperate glitch). So I couldn't get all three characters into the ring since they didn't move, and without them I couldn't start the fight against Sauron.
Thanks for the reply! This is exactly what I've been wondering and was hoping to get an answer to. I guess I'll try to continue playing a bit further then, and stay away from trying to get 100%.
Up to now I've only played one other Lego game, Lego City Undercover, which seemed to be rather glitch-free, so I wasn't expecting the other games from that developer to be this glitchy.
I'm having the same problem, how did you resolve this? I've tried starting again and re-installing, and I'm still stuck. Frustrating.
I just kept restarting the level and at some point it just worked. I doubt there's a fix for this problem. Just keep restarting the level if the other characters don't follow you, and it should work out eventually.
