Game is playing on multiplayer on a computer
Hi, Just bought the game, had some issues installing it and finally started playing it. I'm playing it on a standard laptop but it insists on giving me a split screen for 2 players instead of just one controlling figure, which is what I started with. Any suggestions on how to fix this? It's very difficult to do much trying to control two completely seperate characters on one keyboard. Thanks!

I have the same problem, It seems to be switched on coop at all times, It foces me to switch back and forth between the characters just to move them. I have played alot of the prvious lego games and this was never the case, I would play solo where as the other player would go to npc mode and follow me around. Don't now if this is a new mechanic or not, but is darn annoying...

Same issue here. There has got to be a way to play this solo rather than co-op. I even selected the "Drop Out" option and it didn't do anything.

Ok I figured it out. Very easy to launch into 2 player mode with the stupid default keyboard setup. Start a new game and make sure you don't hit F2 or any of the Player 2 buttons. Go to options > Control Setup to see what to avoid. Really stupid to even have a 2 Player option when playing on 1 keyboard.

I don't start the second player but I STILL get the split screen.

Using the trigger I can move betwen controlling 2 players - but if I move both of them forward the screen splits to leave the 3rd person behind.

Is this happening to anyone else?

I only got the split screen when I accidentally started the 2nd player. I'm only using the keyboard though so I don't know if that makes a difference.

Yeah, the second player npc wont even move even when he's out. I have to manually switch and move him to catch up with the first character....need a fix or I am gonna rage soon.

@barbafeux - If you read up several posts you'll see where I found the solution.
