Player 2 Drop-out Problem

I can't seem to figure out how drop out of player 2 so that there will only be one person playing. I pressed F2 just to see if player 2 worked and now I can't drop out. I'm stuck with a split screen when I play and it's super annoying. I have tried changing the controls for both players and still can't drop out, even when I am clicking drop-out. I can drop out of Player 1 just fine, but not Player 2. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I think you hit whatever button is assigned to pause the game on Player 2's menu, then select to drop out.

No, I am having this problem too. It opens up the second player and I can't get rid of it. It makes the game unplayable.

The only solution that I have found is closing the game and re-opening it. When you go back where you left off, you should be player 1 and player 2 shouldn't be on.

I have found once you hit the F2 button and player2 is active, pause the game and go into options, next go into the control settings for player2 maknig sure there is away to control it. I set the arrow keys in the settings than saved the settings. After that I went back into the game and pauesd player2 with the enter key next to the number pad. This gives you the option to drop the character and than resume playing the game normally hope this helps.

the issue that I'm facing is that once you have control of just one player by dropping out player two, anytime you press a button for player one, player two automatically starts up again so that you are controlling two people with one controller.

Same problem also and any hope of getting mouse control..setup is problematic and a hassle?

I have the solution! When P2 is activated, press the "enter" key on the far right side of your keyboard, next to the keypad. Then you can select "Drop Out"
