treasure glitch+ achievement

First the easy question: how do you get the "not with 10.000 men" achievement? ive unlocked all characters except bottom row

second question: in the final level (mount doom), i have all 3 treasures in my item list. yet the game only lists me 1/3. if i replay the level,there are only studs where the reasures are. how can i fix this? cause i need the last mithrill brick to forge things and get 100%

"Not with 10,000 Men" should unlock when you make your last mithril item as that unlocks the Blacksmith character. Lurtz unlocks when you hit 100%.

Just to double-check, you already have the Trophy Shield, Palantir Hat and Magma Rock in your Treasure Trove inventory?

So another achievement i cant do :p I unlocked lurtz with a cheat code i think

And yes, i have everything in my inventory. except for a few mithrill items i havent forged yet

I should have specified that it's "Lurtz (newborn)" that unlocks at 100%. He'll be in the bottom row after the blacksmith (once you make all mithril items).

Check out this thread at http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=405506 as the OP mentioned he contacted Traveler's Tales about a glitch he was having with treasure items as well which prevented him from getting 100%. They sent him unlock codes (listed later in the post) which cleared it up. Those codes only work if you are at 99% or higher though and I'm also assuming that these codes work across platforms but I'm not positive.

I guess I'm lucky as the only problem I had with achievements was getting the "It won't be that easy" to unlock right away; it took me three tries to get it.

Ah thanks, didnt find that topic when i googled around. im not yet at 99% (98.9), but i havent made all mithril items yet. i did send them a mail already, cause the lego site itself offered no customer service whatsoever. But offocurs its weekend, so it will take some time for them to reply. i will update

patch of 25MB didnt solve anything, and still havent got a reply.... And i thought EA had the worst customer service

Argh! That must be frustrating. Try contacting TT again at http://www.ttgames.com/contact/ and see if that lights a fire under them. I've gone through some other forums and the same glitches can appear in the console versions. Aside from the codes listed in the link I posted in a comment above, I haven't come across anything helpful that is specific to the PC. Xbox users cleared their cache after the most recent patch came out and that seemed to fix it for them.

Keep us posted if you learn anything. I'll do the same if I come across something useful.

I have a problem with 4 trophy's:

1 ... And away he goes, Precious! - when and how to do this??

2 Pointy-eared Elvish princeling. - should I repeats a mission or only go for special place??

3 Taking the Hobbits to Isengard. - how to do that???

4 An expected journey. - travel to where??

Probably my question is stupid bud if anybody now the answer please for fast replay

Im having the same problem. I collected all treasures on level dead marshes, and i have them in inventory but in the game i can see there is 0/3. And im missing 2 items on levels i have 3/3 treasure items. So now im 2 mithril bricks short on making last weapon, and cant finish 1 quests. Everything else is done. I contacted TT to see if they know the solution. If not ill start a game over with cheats to go faster and backup my save after every level. This game need a patch like on console to fix this treasure items glitch :/

Edit: i finished bonus level and after that i had 99.1 %. So i was missing 2 mithril bricks (one from being unable to finish one quest, other for not getting brick for 3/3 for some reason). And i had a glitch on Dead Marshes ( collected all treasures, at one point i had 4/3) but at the end it said i have 0/3). So i searched over the internet and found this codes that help you if you have over 99 % and you are unable to finish the game 100 % because of the tresure glitch. I inputed code W5EJVP and it got me my missing achievements for making all weapons, and getting 100 % in the game. So if someone has over 99 % try these codes also if that doesnt work : RYPWVD, Z5FKXM, EHEP4C, 6MWEAX

i don't know if you still need help getting those achievements, but whatever^^
1. simply switch to gollum in the open world, then swap to your second character, go to the character-select-screen-thingy and choose gollum again (that's the only way to get the same character onto the screen twice), and then go bash one of the two gollums head in^^

2. just go kill uruk-hai's with legolas; as far as i know you don't have to do it in a certain mission, but i guess it's way easier farming the kills in the helms-deep-mission during the attack of the uruk-hai's as soon as they break through the wall and keep coming in (at the point in the mission when the game tells you again to go back up onto the wall)

3. select every single one of the hobbits (frodo, sam, merry, pippin, bilbo and so on), go to the map and "fast-travel" with each one (seperately) to isengard (i think you don't have to do every single "form" of the characters (like "frodo" + "frodo (exhausted)" or whatever he's called in the english version :D), but i did it anyway); to lighten up the mood go and listen to the "they're taking the hobbits to isengard"-song on youtube while doing this :P

4. between the wheatertop and the way to the mines of moria there's an island with 2 or 3 pretty huge troll-statues on it. they're little bit "hidden" in the forest, if you even want to call the couple of trees on the island "forest"..^^ just enter the island WHILE playing as bilbo

hope i could help you, but you probably have gotten the achievements anyway^^ whatever's the case - game on, guys^^ i'm out

Sorry to necro this post but I just had to say thanks for the codes. Was sitting at 99,5% and going crazy with how I was missing the entire bottom row of chars and 15 mithril bricks with the map being completely clean.
I can't believe that a game was being sold in this incredibly broken state. (At least it's decent fun to play it with small children) Again, thanks Veterinarius!
