Stuck on secret stair

On the secret stair level there is a checkered track puzzle that is bugged for me, i use frodo to break free the missing pieces of the track, and then assemble the track. the problem is, once i finish the track, i cant push the rock past the part that was missing. I know the track is done because i got my stud reward for the puzzle. Does anyone else have the same problem, or know of a solution?

An update that may help others...

I originally thought this was completely game-stopping as it blocked Frodo's party, and also blocked Aragorn's party from travelling to their next mission at The Black Gate. However, I was able to skip The Secret Stairs (& Cirith Ungol) by using Frodo to warp to the (previously-discovered) Black Gate checkpoint and start that mission (I don't remember if it's possible for him to reach the gate on foot at that point).

I then finished the other story missions, which unlocked freeplay for The Secret Stairs. Using a wizard in freeplay to magically build that glitched Secret Stairs path seems to make it work fine!
I was able to finish all freeplay missions & hub quests. That got me to ~98%: one incomplete story level, thus one missing mithril brick, thus one blacksmith item short.

So I tried The Secret Stairs again in story mode (my 20+th attempt), and this time it didn't glitch! I finished the mission, got my brick, made my last item, and got my 100%!

I don't know why it suddenly worked. Maybe some combo of extras? (had most activated) Maybe something with co-op? (was experimenting with that) I've since tried to duplicate my success but sadly it just keeps glitching again. I really hoped I could figure out what worked, but maybe it was just dumb luck. So... I guess I wish the dumbest luck to anyone else who finds themselves stuck in this same spot! ;)

The game isn't even available on the store anymore, no chance of the devs ever fixing this :(

It's almost 2022 and we're still having this same problem! Had to restart the level, then it worked.
