With that said, you really should use a gamepad with this game. I own a PS3 and was hoping I could just use that controller with the game, unforunately no deal as there is no support for a ps3 controller which is odd since its available for ps3... However, if you setup your ps3 controller with motionjoy and set it to emulate an xbox controller it will detect your ps3 controller, however it reads all the buttons as if you were on an xbox controller which can be confusing when its saying press x and its really square.. so yea, other than that its a pretty great game.
FPS, strategy, etc. --> Keyboard + Mouse
3D Platformer, driving, any local co-op, etc. --> Dual Analog controller
In TT's defense, this is one of the very few games that allows co-op play using a single keyboard... I'm sure that was a factor in their decision.
I used to play racing games with just keyboard so using just keyboard for games isn't such an unbelievable inconvenience to me, it's really not that difficult. You can change the button layout on the keyboard (unlike some uninformed trouble makers said earlier), so you can have whatever set up you want. If you want to really enjoy this game get a gamepad.
