Screen resolution will not stay fixed
The game will always go back to the default 1024 x 768 after cutscenes or when I start the game. When I am in game I try to apply a higher resolution and the game crashes. What is going on?

I am having the same problem, except mine is 1280 x 720. Is there anyway to change the resolution? I usually go at 1600x900. Please help :*(

That link is no longer working? I'm having an issue with the screen resolution myself. I change it to 1920 x 1080, but it always defaults back to 1280 x 720.

Can whoever posted that link, please type out what you did to fix this? Thanks.

Hey man its really very simple. When you set the resolution, and once you have it set and you click accept, you get prompted to keep the settings (where it counts down from 15 seconds). You can NOT just click accept, you have to click up first and select Use Display Settings or whatever it says. Its not very clear at all, there are 2 different options, and the one it deftaults to is the one that reverts it back, which is stupid, so just make sure that once you click to apply and it refreshes with the new settings and is counting down from 15 seconds that you don't just click accept, but click the other option and again I forget the exact wording but its something like use the display settings.

Thanks rob. I didn't notice that. :)

I had the same problem, I finally noticed that I had to move the cursor to accept this morning. :)

wow, that is a horrible system to change the screen resolution, not clear at all that the writing is actually selectable.

thanks man!

Perhaps it has something to do with the implications made in another thread about the Lego people's difficulties with English.

EDIT: Actually the choices are clear. Use Display Mode and Revert. It just isn't obvious which selection is being made.

When you say “click up” what do you mean? I know, I sound stupid, but seriously, my mouse cursor doesn’t show up on the screen. I’m only able to use the keyboard and controller. Also, when you say “Use Display Settings,” do you mean “Reset To Defaults”? There’s nothing that says Display Settings in the Video Settings menu. I know, you probably think I’m stupid. Can someone help me though please?

Thanks : )

NEVER MIND. That other screen with the words “reset” and “display” weren’t showing up for me till I went into video settings on the pause menu. Why? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Instead it was just reseting the entire computer once I pressed Accept. Lol. But it’s all good now. I can’t believe I’m commenting in a discussion that’s been died for five years.
I have a similer issue in that the resolution changes back to default each time I close the game and open it later. Furthermore a lot of times I have for lack of better words, a flashy box in the upper left corner that I have to fight with to go away. (and sometimes cannot get to go away)

I know this a super old post, but I wanna say, thank you! I just thought it was a label. I never thought i could pick that option (even 11-12 year later! LOL)
