I can't really see myself playing this well without mouse support, so the controller is my only option.
You can either buy a wired Xbox 360 controller for Windows (you just plug it via USB and you're good to go!), or use the wireless one, but you'll need a receiver for that as well, and I've heard people say that sometimes it might not work as well, but I can't comment on that as mine's wired.
Okay, thanks!
I use the wireless controllers all the time without issues. Most current games are designed specifically for the XBOX controller. We play co-op LEGO Harry Potter no problem.
Works flawlessly, you can use you mic or any other xbox wireless accesories you have, and there is no lag. Highly recommend.
However, the thing is, all of them tell you to set the controller as ps3, which ya of course its a ps3 controller... However, Microsoft being the cheap bastards that they are, decided not to implement support for ps3 controller in the game, you know because they want you to use their xbox controllers. Well, the trick is, instead of selecting ps3 controller, select xbox controller instead, then you ps3 controller emulates the xbox controller, and the game will now detect it. So good luck, took me forever to figure that out.
I bought a third-party wireless receiver from Amazon, and have successfully gotten two wireless Xbox 360 controllers to work with with it at the same time. Just don't use the driver disc it comes with (one of the user reviews details the correct way to getting it to work).

And I have a question of my own: Will this game support TWO 360 controllers for co-op?
