Yes, I bought a PC XBox controller from Microsoft and it auto-detected it and works great.

An XBox controller is actually recommended with the game, so yes.

I hate to ask a nooby question, but what do you need to use a 360 controller on a computer? Is there some sort of attachment I need?

I can't really see myself playing this well without mouse support, so the controller is my only option.

You can either buy a wired Xbox 360 controller for Windows (you just plug it via USB and you're good to go!), or use the wireless one, but you'll need a receiver for that as well, and I've heard people say that sometimes it might not work as well, but I can't comment on that as mine's wired.

Okay, thanks!

I don't think the standalone wireless receiver is available anymore; it's only available in kit form. You will want ONE "Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows" which includes 1 USB wireless receiver and 1 regular XBOX 360 wireless controller. You need ONLY ONE of those, the included receiver works with up to 4 regular XBOX 360 wireless controllers... so you can buy up to three more regular controllers, or use any you might have already.

I use the wireless controllers all the time without issues. Most current games are designed specifically for the XBOX controller. We play co-op LEGO Harry Potter no problem.

i would buy a wired xbox controller , that will work on evry controller game no problem . With wireless sometimes you have problems with games . The wired one's come with a very long cable so unless you really want a wireless one get a wired controller.

I just bought a "Microsft xbox 360 wireless controller for windows" off newegg. I was looking for just the adapter but they don't manufacture it anymore. Got a good deal too, only 50$ with free shipping. I was planning on selling the controller with the pack because I already had lots, but I kept it.

Works flawlessly, you can use you mic or any other xbox wireless accesories you have, and there is no lag. Highly recommend.

Hey guys, what about a ps3 controller? I don't own an xbox, and I would really freaking hate to have to buy a 50 dollar controller just to play this stupid game. Im so frustrated right now, trying to play with a keyboard is an absolute nightmare, and here I have this controller that is setup and working on my computer, yet the game won't detect it... Man its frustrating!

Booya! I figured it out yayy! For anyone who wants to know how to use their ps3 controller with this game, you have to download and install motionjoy, its free and legit. Once installed, you need to first load the drivers and once they have loaded you need to configure the pad in your profile section. For more info on setting up motionjoy just google it, there are lots of good tutorials.

However, the thing is, all of them tell you to set the controller as ps3, which ya of course its a ps3 controller... However, Microsoft being the cheap bastards that they are, decided not to implement support for ps3 controller in the game, you know because they want you to use their xbox controllers. Well, the trick is, instead of selecting ps3 controller, select xbox controller instead, then you ps3 controller emulates the xbox controller, and the game will now detect it. So good luck, took me forever to figure that out.

I bought a third-party wireless receiver from Amazon, and have successfully gotten two wireless Xbox 360 controllers to work with with it at the same time. Just don't use the driver disc it comes with (one of the user reviews details the correct way to getting it to work).

The item: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007NIQ9AW/

And I have a question of my own: Will this game support TWO 360 controllers for co-op?
