how to remove equipment?

I am in Cirith Ungol, and I accidentially equipped Frodo with the orc armor and Sam with the helmet. Now I can't pass the guard (the one upstairs) since I seem to need one full set for this. How can I give Sams helmet to Frodo? I haven't found a way to remove equipment so far...

You need TWO full sets to complete the level :) And yeah, to pass the guard - use Frodo's cloak (green item in his inventory).

Yes, after you finish the story and go to freemode to collect everything by 100%.

I just used a jump attack, as Frodo, on that guard and I was able to kill him and get pass the gate. And I don't think there is any way to remove the gear, I could be wrong but I don't know.

Think you only need the equipment to get by this section. In free play I had all the items on one guy with the treasures all on the other and it let me through afer recieving all the pieces of equipment. Maybe your able to search out the items in your treasure grove in the inventory also as the equipment will be in this inventory when you complete the level either way.

Off topic but looking at all the awesome lego games on Steam I wish they had Pirates of the Carribean also I played it for the ps3 but I prefer playing Lego games on pc.

Sam has both helmets and both armors in his inventory and I can not move it back out.
Do I have to restart? Seems so -.-
