Collectibles 0/3 glitch

Cleared Helm's Deep after save load from checkpoint, noticed that treasures was recorded as 4/3.

Back in overworld, checked the map, it's recorded as 0/3.

I have all the treasures in my inventory (ladle, bandage. feathered cap). Tried replaying that level several times, in story and free play mode. Tried restarting game, restarting pc, but still shows as 0/3. I can't recollect the treasures again as they are already in my inventory...

Looked around, seems like this was a common issue, happening in other levels as well. Workaround from 2 years ago was to use a bunch of codes when completion rate was at 99 percent...to 'cheat' your way to 100 percent...

Can someone tell me if this bug was ever patched, or are the codes still the only solution (assuming they work on pc...). If it was patched, or if there is another non-code workaround, please advise...

Not at 99 percent yet, but planning to 100 percent this...appreciate any feedback, thanks...

I had exact same problem as you, and used the codes when I was at 99%. Worked like a charm, and I got 100% completion.

Once you hit 99% game completion, try using one of these codes: RYPWVD, Z5FKXM, EHEP4C, 6MWEAX

I have the same problem you people are having, where you complete freeplay and the Treasure Items do not register. I have found a way to fix that problem.

What you do is start freeplay and collect one of the items and then save the game and exit to Middle Earth, do this three times without getting anything else on that level and you will get your mithril block. But there is a catch, you have to start a whole different Save for this to work.

I have had this problem with the Weathertop level, but I have also beenm reading that people havce had this problem on other levels as well, so for safty sake, do this process for the Treasure Items for all levels and I believe you will finish the game.

When you Save and exit to Middle Earth Each time make sure that when the Treasure Item box comes up that you see the item being counted into the box items, DO NOT SKIP. Especially on the third time, my own experience with games tells me that these sort of things can cause a glitch so always watch through the sequence after the save expecially the third time.

Hey guys ! I'am having trouble getting "fancy hat" from weathertop, i did get it already 3 times, completing and saving the game. The problem is that the item does not go to the inventory, and the quest still asks me to find it on weathertop. Also, it shows that i've already got 3/3 treasure items on that level. Can anyone help ? Is there a code for that particularly item ? Thanks !

Try reading the previous comments in this thread, you might find your answer.

It did work (codes when 99% or above) but it also misses now at 99,8% one brick out of 250. I guess it is glitched from Weathertop level, don't know how to get that last achievment (collecting all bricks). If anyone know how to fix it, please share ! Thanks

Have you tried using all the codes? Maybe you still have a brick you haven't found in freeroam.

Used all the codes, looked aroung every corner at the map and there isn't bricks left to get, seens to be a glitched one from some level (treasure itens).. Searched around and many people are having that issue.. I knew one was missing from Weathertop, when i first used the code it unlocked all achievments but "collecting all bricks" and completing fetch quests, but, as i received the item i was having trouble getting to my inventory, gave it back and finished all quests, but still, one brick missing. Played again weathertop, picked up the "sun hat" item which i was having trouble but still missing one brick..

Just tried this as the sunhat didn't appear in my inventory after completing Weathertop. my game was complete other than that and I got the achievements but now its stuck at 249/250 mithril bricks as the lady with the sunhat glitched and didn't give me one. Am I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and should I just start a new save file and put another 50 hours into the game?

I have the same problem, im stuck on 249/250. Did u solve it?

I didn't. I've honestly just moved on for right now and ill do another playthrough at some point in the future being more careful.

And my recommendation is not to replace the main save with this one. Instead, load it into another slot

im having this issue in 2024 on the dead marshes i had the 4/3 issue i come back next day an notice now it says 0/3 and i am unable to recollect them. i hope the codes still work when i reach 99%
