which should i play first, hobbit or LoTR?

LoTR was made first..... yet hobbit is first in the series...

will i be disapointed if i play from hobbit to LoTR? will gameplay degrade


im so confused idk what to play first, i want the best experience....

From a story mode it doesn't matter, because The Hobbit covers only first two movies. It's the open world that is different. The Hobbit OW offers much better gaming experience than LoTR. So for that reason I would play LoTR first.

My wife and I like the open world of the hobbit game are any other game in the lego franchise like that game as well? or Are they all striaight story levels?

Lego Lord of the Rings. Others: Lego Batman 2 and 3, Lego Marvel Superheroes and Avengers, Lego Jurassic World. Just to name a few.
