To play with another friend online does the second person need a copy of the game or can u just remote play of the host game and not need a game copy

Since the game only has local multiplayer anyway, "remote play" is actually the only thing that will work.

yea but for remote play to work do you both neeed the game or just one person

I've never used remote play, but I see absolutely no reason why the remote player(s) would need the game. It's a streaming thing -- everyone needs decent internet connectivity, but that should be all there is.

Also, you own the game. Just try it. If you have a second box, like a laptop, you can even try it with yourself :-)
