Cannot kill Shelob
I can't kill Shelob in Cirith Ungol Story mode. I make the spider cover its eyes and then when I go to stab it, instead of stabbing, the character flys backwards and drops the sword. Tried it with both characters, swapping items, and with each character holding holding both items. Can't find anything online about anybody else having the problem. I completed this years ago and just started it again to get the remaining achievements. Anyone else had this? May have to start the game from scratch.

Sounds like a glitch try verifying the game or loading the lvl via a checkpoint, not sure why it wouldnt let you continue think you need sam to hold both the vial and the sword and have to dodge the boss avoid the webs, then stab it, its a bit annoying but hope it helps👍🏻

Tried Verifying files and didn't work. I think I'll just start over. It won't take long.

dam i never realized this bug… still was in here all i know is console version works maybe verify or delete re install.. or just use another save file☹️sucks ppl have this issue tho

Don't know if it is mentioned elsewhere but I ran into the same problem today while running into this fight.
Simple solution is to just repeatedly press X (if you are playing on an XBox Controller) after hitting B in front of the spider. Doing that 3 times did the trick for me.
Before trying this I also turned on VSync, don't know if it is related too. Maybe I'll try it again with VSync disabled later.
