Steam has a feature called "Remote play together" or something similar that basically uses streaming to turn local multiplayer into an online one. You'd run the game on your box, your screen is streamed to the other player, and inputs from the other player are sent back.
Probably needs decent internet connectivity between the two of you.
Hmm! I might wait for a deep sale then just in case it doesn't work. That way if it doesn't she can still have fun by herself but it hasn't cost me too much.
for me and a friend it works per "remote play together". The 2nd player won't get archievements, but he must not buy the game and you can play it together.
Then we switched to a program called Parsec and it was way better. Better quality and sound.
So if steam remote play together doesn't work well for you, look into parsec.
Thank you for the advice. Its not very often I get tech support from a pokemon ;)
