Game Crash??!!
For some odd reason, my game keeps crashing after the second level just as i start making my way to Bree. Does anyone else have this issue and can anyone tell me what to do to fix this besides changing betas.

Im having this problem too, except I cant even open my game after I got to bree.

Change compatibility settings to match your device and/or run as administrator. That solved my problem.

Good news! If you want to solve it, you can just desinstall the game and then install it again. Your progress it's not erased and it solves the problem!

Instead of redownloading the entire game, no matter how tiny it is, go into a game's properties and opt in to the only beta available to you. Fixed the crashing right after Black Rider level for me.

How?
I had the same crash in the game at Weathertop but the following fixed it

(1) Go to libaray where the game was installed
(2) Right click to the game app icon
(3) Select properties
(4) Go to Compatibility tab and select Win7(i use this and it worked)
(5) Run the game as Admin

I'm having the same issue. I just bought the game and I can't open it. Even after deleting and reinstalling. And in response to the "run as admin" option, When i select properties, there is no "compatibility" tag.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\LEGO Lord of the Rings @SilverHand3791 The original exe file is in there.

That doesn't seem to work either. When I try to run as admin it tells me to reinstall the application. Same when I try to troubleshoot compatibility. I uninstalled and reinstalled a couple times, still nothing.

Also just bought the game. I'm having the same issue as @SilverHand3791 I tried using the exe in the folder, it also crashed.

I had the same issue and changed my resolution in the video settings in the game from 3840 x 2160 to 1920 x 1080 and it no longer crashes. I've not changed them back so not sure if its just this one level that has the issue.

Well, don't know what to say. I've reinstalled the game today and it was working fine. I've reinstalled and uninstalled this game multiple times and today for some odd, it worked. Sorry I can't provide a solution but maybe do what i did till it works.
