Lego Lord Of The Rings Crashing

Lego Lord Of the Rings is crashing. It starts up just fine, is fine except for super small lag spikes occasionally, and then crashes within 30 minutes of my bringing it up. I can be doing anything, from running around finding stuff on Middle Earth to doing Story or Free Play levels. I have tried changing screen resolution and changing it back, and have even uninstalled and reinstalled it. This didn't start until the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, which was supposedly specifically to help improve gaming. Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm having issues with the same thing, right after the ferry ride I can't progress the story, so now I'm stuck unable to play a game I paid for.

I've tried everything, the beta update, checking integrity... I'm honestly really frustrated.

I am experiencing a similar problem minus the lag spikes. The computer itself just randomly turns off on me in the middle of the game! I don't know how to change the screen resolution and I will probably be in trouble if I reinstall it.How do I fix this?

Literally I tried everything, nothing worked. Finally a wonderful person on here sent me a game file where they went to the next part and saved so I could load up past that point, I still have the googledrive link if you wish to try it.
Some people say borderless window and subtitles on/off help, so you could try that.

I'm definitely having the same problem each time I play the game. It crashes unexpectedly. I know it's not an issue of my computer being "clean" because it plays more intensive games flawlessly. I also monitor my heat and it isn't nearly hot enough to cause a crash. Gonna try "borderless window" or other tricks...

I changed the game to "master" and at first it did not work, but then i deleted "LEGOLOTR.exe" and "filetable.txt" and then I verified the game files, now the game doesnt crash when it lags. and so far it hasnt crash again

After the first level, when I try to walk, it crashes.

I'm having the exact same problem. I've started 3 new save files but all 3 of them have resulted in the game crashing after the ferry

I would also like to get the file if you have it. I need to geta fix for anothe glitch and dont want to play the whole game again
