Mithril items
Please help me!
How can i break certain mithril items all across the map and levels? For example: spider webs, rocks, gates... they shine in silver and hide something behind them, but seem unbreakable to me... any help?
Thanks in advance.

You are asking about either the Mithril Fireworks or the Beserker

You can get the Fireworks from here:

At the Black Gate hub on the map, go to the railings in front of Barad-Dur, use an elf to jump up on the railings in front of the gate and go across the beam for the Blueprints. Then you have to go to Bree and forge them. After that any character you are playing with can use them to blow up the silver boulders, just bring up the character wheel (hold U) and choose the treasure chest, scroll down to the Fireworks (lower R/H), and accept.

and you can get the Orc Beserker by:

You have to do a series of quests before the character appears for you to buy as follows:
Near the Cahadras Eagle Marker talk to the Troll in the cave(Quest - "A Troll in the Dark") and light his fires with Sam.
Revisit the cave for a new quest - "Sunscreen" and build his 'device'
Revisit again (daytime) for the final quest - "A Stroll for a Troll". Go out of the cave and down the Pass (red marker clues on the mini-map), find the wooden horse and ride it back to the cave.
This unlocks the Orc Beserker character who appears near the Eagle marker (night-time) for you to buy.
This guy throws the bombs randomly around (especially behind himself) and is hard to aim at specific things.

Hope this helps :)

Some items require a special tools and/or specific characters.

In order to craft items, you have to explore and find the plans (recipes) and then go talk to the Blacksmith in a place called Bree.
The firework destroy walls, rocks...

Strong characters also destroy things. As soon as possible, buy a Berserker character.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
