You can turn off the pathing studs by going in to Options:Hints and turning hints off.
Have fun.
1. Go to the treasure trove and select any hat and put it on
2. then, go to the treasure trove again and select a bucket and hold it (there's two, either work)
3. then, go back to the treasure trove and select the same hat you chose at the start to take it off your head
4. then, drop the hat (controller default {B} or {3}, keyboard default {K} or {Num. 3})
That's all! You have no items/weapons in your hands now =D
My sis and I figured this out while playing it for the many hours we have racked up :p
I don't think there's a way to disable the stud trail :/
You're welcome! ^-^
Oh, and punching doesn't bring the weapons back, you have to bring up the characters inventory and select their weapon to get it back. c:
It's a bit annoying, but not that bad. c:
I remeber that, but after replaying some other levels, it's gone away for me. I've completed the game serveral times through.
