RogueRunner Mode Feedback
After beating the campaign, one of my main motivators for getting GR2 was for the RogueRunner mode. It's fun, but it feels unfinished and I'm a little let down. I sincerely hope the devs expand upon it. Some key points I thought of:

- The arena nodes need more randomization. After a handful of runs, I was disappointed to see the exact same placement and selection of enemies, as well as no change in the layout of the environment. Some of the nodes are already getting trivial/stale for this reason. There is literally an arena node that has exactly one mech that can be dashed to and killed before it even thinks about charging up...

- The parkour nodes are fine, but the stage 1 nodes are too easy. They don't need to be as crazy as the later stages, but I feel like they should be amped up a tad.

- This is not a huge issue and I may have just not seen it yet, but where are the dojo style cybervoid environments? Kira's cybervoid was centered entirely around this aesthetic and I feel as though it's a waste not to have some nodes focused with this aesthetic in mind.

- I was disappointed to see that none of the final nodes or anything had any bosses. We seriously need boss nodes, even if they are optional.

- Right now, because of how easy parkour nodes are in stage 1 and being able to see the rewards for each node, it's way too easy to farm lives and have 50+ by the time you get to stage 4, trivializing the achievement of completing a whole run.

- It would be awesome in the future to see some larger scale arena AND parkour nodes making use of the wingsuit!

Those are what I thought of now, feel free to share your opinions as well! I really hope this mode gets expanded upon! Also, can we please get NG+ chaos mode that randomizes every enemy in the campaign to spice things up? :D

I hate it, to be perfectly honest; limited lives run counter to the rest of the design.

Speaking of your last point, I think we'll see more of it with new DLCs and maybe these DLCs will bring more stuff to RR as well.

I believe so as well! Hopefully they have some ambitious content updates in store for us :cozyspaceengineersc:

How replayable is that mode? Tempted to buy.

I think it depends on what you're looking for out of it. Since the only "procedural generation" or randomness comes from the order and rewards of missions, it could get stale pretty quick if you're looking for a true rogue-like mode. Especially since there are only a total of 4 cosmetics to get from the mode and they are really easy to earn.

The best way for me to describe it would be to imagine that you took each arena and parkour encounter from the main campaign, split them into individual segments, and randomized the order in which you do them every time you start RogueRunner. Essentially, the enemies and placements are largely the same, it's just the order of the missions are randomized.

If you're okay with that much, it's a good mode. But if you want a fully fledged rogue-like with bosses, rewards to grind, and completely randomness. You'll probably be disappointed.

I wish the levels were procedural but other than that it's pretty fun
