Ghostrunner 2 raytracing
I launched game with Directx 12 and cannot see any raytracing settings in menu. Is early acces lacking this feature or just some bug?

Ok, so did some research and you can force game to run in Directx 12 with -dx12 parameter, but it's crashing a lot, and shader compilation is awful. This is a shame, because game looks so much better with RT.

at least the demo starts with dx12 by default, and you should also have the option to change it, start parameter is not needed. but are there even RTX options in the full game? the demo had none.

Launch parameter + -dx12 : no RT option.

Even if you select the DX12 option at the beginning, it seems that the game starts with DX11 anyway. After entering the parameter, the game actually starts with the option to turn on raytracing. AFAIK demo was DX11 only in mind, I saw some topics where guys forced game to DX12 and it was very unstable.

Maybe :

Right-click Ghostrunner 2 in your library.
Click Properties.
Scroll down to Launch Options and make sure the option is set to "Play with DirectX 11."
In the text box below, type “-dx12”

No, the demo launched in dx11 and forcing dx12 in launch perimeters allowed the ray tracing features to be enabled in the menu, however, RT was crashing for everyone when enabling it in the demo, even on my 4080/i9. I just installed the full game so I will see if anything has changed

this sounds very very much like a major game release from 2023, so thanks for the well-written summation.

one day we'll look back on 2023: when we learned to hate Ray-Tracing because it broke multimillion dollar projects, even though it was a much-advertised feature. then, when they finally DID get RTX to run properly, nobody trusted it. fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, I need to buy a new PC.
