Can't play the Tutorial stage - stuck on loading screen but with gameplay audio.

I can hear the tutorial girl talking about back-seat gaming me, the music is working and everything but the screen is stuck on the loading image/splash. After a while, the game crashes.

I tried running the game as an Admin, lowering all the setting to the absolute minimum and still no luck.

We just uploaded a new version that might(!) fix this issue. Please restart Steam, then download the patch.
The versionnumber should read 1.2.8924.28697 in the main menu.

Please let me know, if this fixes the issue for you, or if you still can not start a session.

Hi dotmos! Thanks for responding so quickly.

Unfortunately I still can't start a session after the update. What I noticed that changed was that the tutorial voice over does start a lot faster than before (so I guess the map "loaded" faster) and that the loading icon no longer goes back and forth from moving clockwise to anti-clockwise in rapid fashion but instead it just stays still (frozen). Additionally, the game no longer crashes despite being stuck on this screen. That said, the loading page still covers the screen and I cannot play at the moment. I'll wait for any future updates instead.
