Game Does Not Open.

After I downloaded the game I opened it and it ran in windowed mode but in a really small window. I adjusted the resolution to fullscreen now it doesn't starts. It just frozens before the logo (Doctor Entretainment" pops up. I checked the game files and the Traktor.Amalgam.App says:
"Unable to read application settings (Application.config).
Please reinstall application.
Please copy this information and contact
[e-mail]"
I've sent the information to that e-mail but I thought it was worth to put in the forums

If you could post here (http://play-gearup.com/crash-report) with the log file it will help find the problem here. A primitive solution but effective would be to reinstall it (a good idea would be to backup the game after reinstall if you go that way).

I just deleted de local files and redownloading them so now I dont have the file. Let's see if that works

Well it didn't work out. Now i get this error:

Another wierd thing is that the game does not use my Nvidia video card but the integrated graphics

Got to play in a frends computer and turned out to be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. However this was 2 years ago and the game has evolved hugely since then and people seemed to like it, may try it some day.

Regarding the problem, it may be because of the graphics card preferred for the program. I didn't checked that before, but that could be selected through the nvidia control panel and selecting High Performance Nvidia Proccessors. I know there is a similar setting for AMD cards but don't know exactly how it is

if your getting a message that says "app is already running" you need to go to task manager and close the Traktor app in processes.

Yeah, I tried task manager before, but it didn't show anything else running besides my browser and desktop items. It wouldn't even let me restart Steam because it was telling me to close Gear Up first. Though, I was able to restart my computer and I think that did the trick.

When in task manager you need to click on the process tab at the top. Then look for the traktor app. Then end process. This is only if your getting the app is already running error.
