Is not launching on Mac.

OS X ver. 10.9.5.

I also just downloaded "The Complete Journey" and it is not loading on my computer.

My computer specs are:
* Macbook Pro Retina (2013)
* 3GHz Intel Core i7
* 8GB 1600MHz DDR3
* Mac OSX 10.8.5

What do i need to do to make it launch? I only get a black screen - but I can hear the sound, and my mouse works because I can hear the mouse-over sounds…
