Detonation plan bugged.
I am unable to move the magnets on the detonation plan. I can see the plan and the magnets, the "back" button functions, but I can't interact with the magnets at all. Does anyone know of a workaround?

I'm playing version 1.3.4.1274 on Windows 8 32 bit.

Suche nach: "sprengplan_reset" dann ändere den hex-code von "73 70 72 65 6E 67 70 6C 61 6E 5F 72 65 73 65 74 00 6D 11 00 00 3B 00 00 00 FF FF FF FF 00" to "73 70 72 65 6E 67 70 6C 61 6E 5F 72 65 73 65 74 00 6D 11 00 00 3B 00 00 00 FF FF FF FF 01" (also nur die letzte Stelle von 00 auf 01 setzen), Datei speichern, Spiel starten und das veränderte Savegame laden. Man sollte jetzt die Magnete wieder bewegen können!

I was able to get it to work with this edit, but I had to disable Steam cloud saves, backup my savegame##.dat file, and then clear out the entire Savegames folder (C:\Users\[you]\AppData\Local\Daedalic Entertainment\Deponia\Savegames) before performing the edit and placing the file back in the folder. In doing so, the game didn't offer a Continue option, but the Load option worked, followed by the magnets!

Thank you so much, cleaning the whole "saveGames" file and putting in it only the modified savegame##.dat file worked for me!
Got the magnet bug, and couldn't even locate the saved game folder for this game... searched everywhere in my pc... . Anyway: re-installed, started again from the beginning and it works normally: just double-click on the magnets.
the hex edit didn't work for me sadly :( tried cleaning out the other files in the save folder but still the magnets won't move.
Unbelievable, I'm having the same problem and this bug has been around for almost a decade.

Disappointing.

I'm surprised anyone would expect it to be fixed after this long and after there's three sequels out already. Developers don't sit around and support games that long.

As it stands, it worked fine for me on PS4.

that works for me, easy install portable hxd and find / replace correcr 00 to 01
Note: not all HEX codes in sequence were the same in my file. get sure you change the zerozero after four times "ff"

If the fix doesn't work for you make sure that cloud saving your saves through steam is disabled

Hi there, the bug with the detonation Plan is quiet annoying. And loading a savegame from their website with lots of achievements gone did not satisfy me. So i dug a bit deeper.
You need the detonation plan to get the three guys waiting before the mayors office out of town hall, so you'll be next in line. If the detonations are close to there homes, they will leave. Doing that one of them will lose his ticket. You pick it up and you are next.
The ticket is an achievement stored in the savegame file. You can simply turn it on using an hex editor. Afterwards the guys are still sitting in the town hall and you don't have the second tickt in your inventory, but you can enter the mayors office and proceed with the game.
Take your last savegame file (location is "C:\Users\*your username*\AppData\Local\Daedalic Entertainment\Deponia\savegames" for windows where "your username" should be filled with the windows user name). Savegame files are named "savegamexx.dat" where the latest has the highest number. Same with bookmark files, which are autosaves.
Make a backup copy of the savegamefile you want to edit and store it somewhere safe, so you can reedit the original file if somewith goes wrong. Open the hex editor of your choice and look for a string named:"Wartenummer_2_genommen". This meas "ticket numer 2 taken". The hexdump is reading "00 5D 11 00 00 10 00 00 00 FF FF FF FF 00 12 00 00 00". You have to change it to "00 5D 11 00 00 10 00 00 00 FF FF FF FF 01 12 00 00 00" and the ticket ist yours. Don't forget to save the file. Now start Deponia, load the savegame and proceed. The detonation plan is still not working, but it is not needed anymore.

#81 THANK YOU, your extra tweak is what helped me solve it. And, I don't know if anyone pointed this out (don't have energy left to read everything posted later than the one that helped me) but:

In this hex code, it says "6D" but in my document it was actually "D6". I didn't touch it, just changed the 00 to 01, and it works!
