Glitch with crane? (spoiler if you haven't played the scene)

I had a problem getting Rufus to meditate properly to use the crane. I had put the leg behind the seat and picked the right 'name', but didn't have the booze. Once I got the booze, it wouldn't work, and I couldn't make any progress in the game. I went from a previous save point, got the booze before putting the leg behind the seat and picking the right name, and it worked just fine. Thanks goodness for walkthroughs, or I would have spent hours trying to figure out what else I needed to do. Anyone else have this problem, or am I the only one who does things all backwards?

I got booze before putting the leg. Now i have the leg right behind, have booze in pocket, but right clicking on horizont doesnt affect anything. No words or something like this. Cant pass this place in game.

Did you pick the right 'name' before getting the booze? Perhaps this is what causes the glitch. I didn't find any solution other than to start again from a previous save point.

I have this same problem. I picked the correct word before I got the booze. So now when I go back to the crane with the booze and look into the horizon, Rufus says the right word without me selecting it again but never takes a swig of the booze.

And I don't have a previous save point that works since my one and only save is right after I picked the correct word without the booze. So unless there's a fix for this I have to start the game all overt again which is not going to happen.

Maybe I could load someone elses save?

unfortuantely I don't have any save files on my computer. I had to make room for other games that I'm playing and uninstalled the game. It is quite a frustrating glitch. If I would have had to start from the begining, I probably would have set the game aside for quite some time before giving it another try.

You have to select the booze in your inventory to make Cletus take a drink. He doesn't do it automatically.

Thanks for that. I can't believe that I spent over an hour trying to figure this out. You right click on the bottle of booze to drink...

Actually, he drank the booze automatically for me. I got the same error (couldn't click on the horizon to focus on it) so I did it over and realized I had to right click on the horizon while talking to Doc for him to show me how to focus on the horizon. Then when I went to the crane it let me focus on the horizon after placing the leg bone.

I can't get him drink this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ booze. After staring into the horizont. Annoying puzzles and glitches. ♥♥♥♥ this game,

Right clicking on the booze while sitting in the crane should solve this.

I had same issue. Problem is that bottle is empty, you need to refill from Doc's container. Just ask him to meditate when he puts leg on his neck, use empty bottle on Doc's alco stuff
