Game removed from my library.

I bought this game in retail 8 years ago and today it was removed from my library. It was called gamebook Saga Deponia (Polish version) and contained DVD and codes for the first 3 games in the series. Only this game was removed the other two are still in my library.

The message from steam:
"Your recent Product code activation has been revoked due to a problem processing payment for this item. The games associated with this product code can no longer be played as a result. This could be due a problem with the payment methods you used to acquire this item from a third-party seller; or a problem with how the third-party seller acquired the Product code. Please contact the seller you acquired the Product code from for assistance.

If you would like to purchase the item, please visit the Steam Store. Otherwise you may choose to delete the local content associated with these games."

I still have the gamebook and since i bought this 8 years ago i'm not 100% sure from which store i bought this from.

I'm pretty sure it's from a Gamebook with 3 Deponia games.

Masz całkowita rację, mój błąd. Wygrzebałem CD-Action z Deponią i dodatkowo znalazłem pudełkową edycję Saga Deponia Gamebook, być może to ona była aktywowana pierwsza.

physical copy of that book with codes and everything.

That's the cancer of digital distribution. They can remove any of your games, any time after purchase, without a word of explanation.
And we are not even talking about keys from keyshop or any other "shady" place. It's fcking official distribution, game bought in official retail store !!!

Going this way, they can remove all games that were not directly purchased from the Steam store. What's sick.

Definitely not.Free keys are rather not "Deponia retail". Ok, we wait then.

Same problem here for me and also my steam friend (so +2). Deponia trilogy in my case has been bought in 2017 and the so-called payment problem is now, after almost 6 years? If it is a joke Steam, not only isn't it funny but it's kind of pathetic.

I also can confirm, it's box-dvd version, Game Book - Saga Deponia; published by cdp.pl on Polish market.
