where can i get leafy fish?

i checked the guide it says on fall on falling leaf day and on river and its a small size fish but i load many times to fish in river but cant find it i fish in the river in the town and in the river in my farm

I have a fishing skill that awarn me the day I have to catch the legendary fish - but I spent all fall for it and caught it in the end of the fall. I managed to catch it in the river near my house but you can try any river - the fish shadow size is rather small - so try to catch all small/medium fish shadows.

do i need this skill that give me warning or no need? coz i dont have this skill
