[Bug?] Can't sow seed on tilled ground

I've been getting a red square and the error noise after trying to sow seeds on ground that is shovelled and then tilled. Never had this issue in spring before but it's occurring in summer now

This might sound like a silly question, but are you sure you're using a crop for the right season? I noticed that happened when I got some tomato seeds from a quest but it turned out it was the wrong season to plant them.

I just realised this was the issue! I was looking at cabbage seeds while thinking they were watermelon seeds for some reason
