Do horses do anything at this point?
I saw that the ability to ride animals hasn't been added yet, but is there some other reason to have horses at this point? (other than cutness factor)

Usually in those kinds of games it serves as a faster mothod of traversal
e.g Stardew Valley, Harvest Moons etc.

Can't say for sure what's their purpose in Fields of Mistria, as of yet.

I mean to read on the roadmap that you can ride on big animal later in progress of the early access or official release. Means they plan to implement more functions for horses?
