Water Sprinklers Suggestion
As fun as magic is, I would just like sprinklers. Ones that don't use tile spaces and sit between tiles.

It's just kind of a waste of limited mana slots, at least let us pick the option of either magic or sprinklers?

Sprinklers are at least a one time buying deal, making extra mana potions in case you need another slot is a sink of continuous money over time and not very efficient or convenient, unless you plan your entire day around one less mana slot every single day that it doesn't rain. I just don't personally like the concept of it.

(Also just for lore/continuity arguments sake for people who are interested, please google when irrigation in farming dates back to and read the wiki page on irrigation.)

Agreed! I hate watering crops, I'd plant more of them if I had sprinklers. As it is half the time I forget to water 'em. In Stardew I have massive farms because of sprinklers. Here i don't, I'm on Spring y2 now and that still hasn't changed. Idk why they'd use real world logic when it comes to a game that has magic. But yeah, lol, I hope sprinklers are coming.

To keep with the magic theme, there could be some sort of magical creature that goes around your farm to water the crops as well like the Harvest Moon sprites!

I feel like this would defeat the purpose of the magic system tbh u_u I would like it so that magic doesn’t take as long to restore so that it is easier to water crops. And I agree that having magical creatures that water crops would be good too !

Cabbage, I'm gonna keep it real, if it's anything like the Junimos planting seeds, I sure hope it's not that. Those guys are so slow. The dev team is very small and big game breaking bug patches have not been very fast so far. I don't wanna worry that a little creachur got stuck somewhere and find out the next day nothing got watered. Coding wise as least sprinklers would all go off at the same time, it's so much easier to code that, rather than a little AI trying to find the next unwatered patch.

The purpose was already defeated with severely limited mana, a choice to be a magic farm vs an efficient farm to make money would be nice option to give every player who does want to use it

It's not like most npc's even have magic to begin with, so it's not immersion breaking if you decide you don't wanna use the sprinklers but they're still there in the game

In terms of efficiency it's more worth to water the crops by hand and then recover your full stamina with magic because you can then use the stamina for a lot more things. It costs you in 'time' to hand-water, but overall better profit than wasting mana on watering. Because of this the watering magic is redundant until they make mana more accessible. Atm it recovers too slow to be worth or useful imo.

So I'm all for sprinklers.

I had mines to creach. I didn't find a single worm or centipede in the upper floors after 3,000+ broken rocks. The bug spawn rate is killing me
