Adeline is Great (A Response)

So I've seen this on videos and other discussion boards and now this one, that attacks Adeline. This is typically based around her making requests for us to fix the town and using a lot of resources (most people have an issue with spending money) is what bothers them. Look, I get it, that's not great, but blaming a really sweet character who actively loves and helps the town to her own detriment, is weird. I have two points to make.

Firstly, she literally hired you to help. Watch the beginning cut-scene. Her and Eiland agree to contact the adventurer's guild in order to *hire* someone in exchange for an, essentially, free *furnished* house and massive plot of land. These upgrades also lead to things that allow you to make more money and do more things. I spent a ridiculous amount on a home expansion that was purely cosmetic, most of you probably did, does Ryis deserve your hate?

Secondly, this is the fault of the game devs. Blaming a character is weird, very weird. Take it up with them, they're the ones who decide rewards and payments in the game. Sure, they make it go through her, but if they had Del as the town leader, guess what? It would be the same. Put anyone in her spot, do you hate them now?

In conclusion, it's a game. A game that isn't finished with missing dialogue and will continuously be updated. Voice your concerns and they might make a compromise. Yeesh people, relax so I can relax.
